Trap House Loading Procedure

Please plan to load trap houses after 7:00 PM or when shooting is minimal.

Inform the clubhouse manager (Stacey Baker) when you’re ready to load the trap houses.

Check the clay target inventory in each trap house.

After loading, the machine should be full and there should be between 15 and 20 clay target boxes on the trap house shelf.

Do not stack clay target boxes more than four (4) high.

Do not place boxes on concrete.

Note: A box of clay targets weighs approximately 35 pounds.

*****Important*****

WARNING: Before moving in front of the trap house doorway it is important to complete the following 4-Steps below to disarm and turn off the Pat Trap machine:

1. Release the "armed" clay target on the Pat Trap turret by reaching into the right side of the door and toggling the Release switch (front switch) in the DOWN (Release) position. Caution: This will release/throw the clay target.

2. Leave the Release switch in the MIDDLE (Off) position so the Pat Trap does not reload a new clay target.

3. Make sure the Pat Trap ARM is in the SAFE position:

The arm will be sticking out from the machine

on the side away from trap house stairs.

    (See picture.)

4. Turn the Pat Trap PUMP OFF by toggling the Pump switch (back switch) in the DOWN (Off) position.

With the Pat Trap ARM in the SAFE position and the PUMP OFF, it is safe to raise the trap house lid using the toggle switch on the left side of the trap house.

AFTER you are finished loading the trap house rearm the Pat Trap:

1. Lower the trap house lid using the toggle switch on the left side of the trap house.

2. Turn the Pat Trap back PUMP ON by toggling the Pump switch in the UP (On) position.

3. Rearm the Pat Trap by toggling the Release switch in the UP POSITION (On) to activate the Pat Trap; the Pat Trap ARM will move to its cocked position.
